This month I will be focusing more on the LINK conference which is a
professional development project initiated by the Rotaract Club of
Milimani. This year's event is scheduled to have four speakers speaking
on different topics and I will share with you their profiles, so that
you may insight on what to expect on 30th April 2016. The topics to be
covered during the conference are:-

Cathy Mputhia - Intellectual Property
Cathy
Mputhia is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a patent agent
with Kenya Industrial Property Institute. She holds an LLB from
University of Nairobi, MBA-Strategic Management and is pursuing an
LLM-International Commercial Law. She runs her own firm C.MPUTHIA
ADVOCATES that specializes in intellectual property law, innovation and
emerging laws. The firm is currently handling the first technovation
case globally as well as a number of IP commercialization projects.
- Cathy Mputhia
Cathy
is a distinguished columnist and writes for several publications
including Business Daily, the Stock exchange magazine and Ideal
interiors. She is about to publish her first book. Cathy is also a
conference speaker and has spoken in various forums about intellectual
property and also corporate succession. She sits on a number of boards
as a director. Her vision is to be a change and growth agent and her
focus is on innovation and entrepreneurship.
